The RV Vault NVR-04 / RV Vault NVR-08 support a single SATA hard drive up to 16TB (drive sold separately).

Three modes: scheduled recording (continuous all day), alarm recording (event-triggered), and scheduled + alarm hybrid mode. Alarm recording supports eight smart-event triggers: motion detection, human detection, line crossing, wrong-way vehicle detection, personnel absence, loitering, area intrusion, and illegal parking.

The RV FourSight 4G NVR is a multi-camera hub system: the base station has a built-in 20000mAh battery + 15W solar panel, supports 4G / Wi-Fi 6 / Ethernet connectivity, and can centrally manage up to 16 wireless cameras with centralized recording (4 channels standard, expandable to 16). Differences from single-camera setups: unified multi-site management — manage all cameras from one app interface; centralized storage — footage is saved to the base station’s microSD card (up to 256GB) instead of inserting a card in each camera; and broad coverage — in open areas the working distance between cameras and hub can reach 200-C300 m, ideal for covering an entire property.

The RV FourSight 4G NVR supports up to 16 wireless cameras. The standard package is a 4-camera kit (1 hub + 4 cameras). To purchase additional cameras, contact support@ruggedvision.com for accessory-pack options and pricing.

In open, unobstructed environments the effective working distance is about 200-C300 m. Actual range is affected by walls and metal structures, so we recommend testing the signal at the same location before installing.

The hub has a built-in 20000mAh battery, charged by the included 15W solar panel, with total power consumption –5W; it also supports 5V power and Type-C fast charging for emergency top-ups during consecutive cloudy/rainy days.

Yes. The hub has one RJ45 10/100M auto-negotiating Ethernet port for wired internet; it can also connect via 4G (CAT4, with 2 external 4G transmit/receive antennas) or Wi-Fi 6.

The hub has a “pairing button” on its body: briefly press it to pair nearby wireless cameras into the system; quick QR-code pairing via the app is also supported.

Footage is stored on the hub’s microSD card (up to 256GB, FAT32 / exFAT). Cloud storage is not yet available for the hub. Recording modes: scheduled recording and motion-detection recording; playback supports event playback and scheduled-recording playback. How long a 256GB card lasts depends on the number of connected cameras and trigger frequency.

Recording resolution follows the connected cameras’ specs; the companion wireless cameras have dual 4MP lenses and support H.264/H.265 encoding.
